Important Professional Note

Bleached Hair Needs a Softer Straightening Approach

When a blonde, highlighted, or bleached client wants a straighter result, Bio Sleek gives the straightening power while Nano Silky helps support fragile, lightened areas with more softness and control.

This guide teaches when to use Bio Sleek alone, when to mix Bio Sleek with Nano Silky, and how to protect the integrity of blonde or fragile hair during the straightening service.

When to Use the Combo

When to Use Bio Sleek + Nano Silky Together

Use this guide when the hair is blonde, highlighted, bleached, or fragile and needs a softer straightening approach.

01

Blonde Level 8+

Use the combo when the hair is light blonde, level 8 or higher, and needs a straighter result with more protection for the lightened areas.

02

Highlighted Hair

Highlighted hair can be more sensitive. Nano Silky helps soften the service while Bio Sleek gives the straightening power.

03

Balayage / Ombré

Use Bio Sleek on darker roots or natural regrowth, and the Bio Sleek + Nano Silky mix on lighter mids and ends.

04

Fragile Ends

When the ends are dry, porous, or lightened, the combo gives more control while helping protect the hair integrity.

Mixing Guide

90% Bio Sleek + 10% Nano Silky

This professional combo is designed for blonde, bleached, highlighted, or fragile hair when the client wants a straighter result.

90% Bio Sleek
+
10% Nano Silky

Bio Sleek gives the straightening power, while Nano Silky helps soften the service for blonde, bleached, highlighted, or fragile areas.

01

Bio Sleek

Provides the straightening power, sleek finish, frizz control, and long-lasting result.

02

Nano Silky

Adds softness, shine, smoothness, and support for fragile or lightened hair.

03

Best For

Level 8+, blonde, highlighted, bleached, balayage, ombré, or fragile ends.

Professional Rule: Use the 90/10 mix when the hair needs straightening, but the blonde or lightened areas need a softer and more controlled approach.
Application Placement Guide

Where to Apply Bio Sleek Alone vs. the 90/10 Mix

Use this guide when the client has darker roots, natural regrowth, blonde mids, bleached ends, or fragile lightened areas.

01

Darker Roots / Natural Regrowth

Apply Bio Sleek alone on darker roots or natural regrowth when the hair is stronger and needs more straightening power.

Best for level 1–8 roots or resistant regrowth.
02

Blonde / Bleached Mids + Ends

Apply the 90% Bio Sleek + 10% Nano Silky mix on blonde, highlighted, bleached, or more delicate mids and ends.

This helps soften the service while still giving straightening control.
03

Very Fragile Ends

On very fragile, dry, porous, or lightened ends, use the 90/10 mix with extra caution and adjust your flat iron work.

Lower heat, fewer passes, and watch the hair carefully.
Professional Tip: On balayage or ombré hair, use Bio Sleek alone on the darker root area and the 90/10 mix on the lighter mids and ends.
Professional Application

Bio Sleek + Nano Silky Step-by-Step

Follow these professional steps when straightening blonde, highlighted, bleached, or fragile hair with the Bio Sleek + Nano Silky combo.

01

Wash + Dry

Wash the hair 2 times with Nano Lamination Clarifying Shampoo.

Do not use conditioner before applying the treatment.

Blow-dry the hair 100% before application.

02

Mix + Apply

For blonde straightening, mix 90% Bio Sleek + 10% Nano Silky.

Apply in small sections, starting about ¼ inch from the root. Comb each section after applying to make sure the product is evenly distributed.

Use Bio Sleek alone on stronger darker roots if needed.
03

Process

Normal Blonde / Fragile Hair 30 min under heat with cap 20 min without cap under heat 10 min without heat Total: 60 minutes
Thick / Curly / Resistant Hair 60 min under heat with cap 20 min without cap under heat 10 min without heat Total: 90 minutes
04

Rinse + Shampoo

Rinse with water to completely remove the treatment. Then wash with Nano Lamination Treatment Care Shampoo.

For damaged or dry hair, apply I.SMOOTH while the hair is still wet before drying and flat ironing.
05

Dry + Flat Iron

Dry the hair 100%. Divide the hair into 4 sections and flat iron in small sections.

Repeat each section 10–16 passes until the hair is silky, smooth, and polished.

Use Babyliss Pro 2091/2094 or Lizze Extreme Nano Titanium flat irons for best results.
06

Check + Correct

After flat ironing, wash the hair with shampoo and apply a mask or conditioner. Dry and check the final result.

If a puffy or curly section remains, repeat the flat iron process while the client is still in the salon.
Flat Iron Guide

Temperature + Passes for Blonde Straightening

Use Bio Sleek straightening power with Nano Silky protection rules when working on blonde, bleached, highlighted, or fragile hair.

01

Strong Blonde / Resistant Hair

410°F–450°F Temperature
8–12 Flat Iron Passes

Use this range only when the blonde hair is strong, healthy enough, and not overprocessed.

Increase heat carefully and always watch the hair response.
02

Bleached / Fragile Hair

370°F–410°F Temperature
5–10 Flat Iron Passes

Use lower heat and fewer passes on bleached, highlighted, porous, thin, or fragile hair.

The goal is smooth and shiny hair without over-ironing.
03

Very Fragile Ends

370°F–390°F Temperature
3–7 Flat Iron Passes

For delicate, dry, porous, or lightened ends, reduce the heat and work with extra control.

Do not over-iron fragile ends.
04

Professional Rule

Work slowly in very thin sections and adjust the temperature based on elasticity, porosity, damage, and color history.

The goal is to see the hair become silky, shiny, and soft — not burned, dry, or overprocessed.
If the hair is gummy, stretchy, breaking, or melting, do not straighten.
Color Timing Guide

When to Color, Tone, or Highlight

Use this professional color guide when working with blonde, bleached, highlighted, or fragile hair after the Bio Sleek + Nano Silky service.

01

Best Order

For best control, perform the Bio Sleek + Nano Silky straightening service first, then color or tone after if needed.

Straightening first helps you see the final smooth result before adjusting the shade.
02

Same-Day Color

Same-day color is possible after the treatment, but the hair must be washed and prepared correctly before applying color.

Use professional judgment, especially on fragile blondes or fresh toner.
03

How to Prepare for Color

After the treatment, wash the hair 2 times with Treatment Care Shampoo, apply Treatment Care Conditioner for 3 minutes, rinse, and dry the hair 100%.

After the hair is clean and fully dry, apply color or toner.
04

Bleach / Highlights Rule

Be careful with bleach or highlights on fragile hair. Do not bleach hair that is gummy, stretchy, breaking, or overprocessed.

Always check elasticity and hair condition first.
Professional Safety Guide

Who Is Not a Good Candidate?

Not every blonde or bleached client is ready for a straightening service. Always protect the hair integrity first.

01

Gummy or Stretchy Hair

If the hair feels gummy, stretchy, weak, or overly elastic when wet, do not perform the straightening service.

The hair needs repair and strengthening first.
02

Breaking or Melting Hair

If the hair is breaking, snapping, melting, or cannot handle tension, it is not a good candidate for heat sealing.

Do not risk more damage with flat iron work.
03

Overprocessed Bleach

Hair that has been over-lightened or processed multiple times may not have enough strength for straightening.

Always check porosity, elasticity, and strength first.
04

When You Are Not Sure

If you are unsure how the hair will react, perform a strand test before doing the full service.

When in doubt, do not proceed.
Professional Rule: A straight result is never worth damaging the hair. If the hair is too weak, repair first and perform the service later.
