How to Use
Step 1 – Preparation
- Wash the hair twice with Nano Lamination Clarifying Shampoo.
- Do not use conditioner.
- Blow-dry the hair 100% dry before applying the treatment.
Step 2 – Application
- Shake well before use.
- Divide the hair into small sections. Apply Nano Silky ¼ inch from the root, combing through each section for even distribution.
- Cover with a shower cap and leave on for 30 minutes with heat, 20 minutes without the heat, then 10 minutes, 10 minutes without heat (60 minutes total).
Step 3: Rinse
Rinse thoroughly with water.
Step 4: Blow Dry & Flat Iron
- Blow-dry the hair 100% dry again.
- Divide into 4 sections. Flat iron in small subsections, passing each section 8–12 times until hair is silky and smooth.
- For best results, use a professional titanium flat iron (Babyliss Pro 2091/2094 or Lizze).

Nano Silky is not a straightening treatment. It is designed to:
- Eliminate frizz completely
- Soften and smooth the hair
- Add healthy shine and manageability
For wavy and curly hair, Nano Silky makes the texture smoother, shinier, and easier to manage but it does not create permanent straightening.
On curly hair, especially if the hair is fine or thin, Nano Silky may reduce the curl pattern by partially loosening it. This effect can make curls look more open and relaxed.
Pro Tip: We always recommend performing a small test on a section of hair (usually at the back of the head) before treating the full head. This way, the client can see how their curl pattern responds and decide if they like the result.
Frizz after Nano Silky is not typical the treatment should eliminate frizz completely. If it happens, it’s usually related to the sealing process with the flat iron. Here are the key points to check:
- Flat Iron Passes: If the hair wasn’t sealed with enough slow passes, the product may not have fully penetrated. In this case, simply go back and flat iron again in thin sections until the hair looks silky and shiny.
- Low Porosity Hair: Clients with low porosity hair may need extra attention. Their hair is harder to penetrate, so more slow passes with a professional titanium flat iron (Babyliss Nano Titanium is recommended) are needed to lock in results.
- Rinsing vs. Washing: If the salon only rinsed (not shampooed) after the treatment, and the client washed their hair at home for the first time, the product is still inside the hair. You can seal it properly by going over with a flat iron again. If the hair was already shampooed more than once, a reapplication may be needed.
- Reapplication: If results are uneven and frizz persists after multiple washes, the stylist can reapply Nano Silky sooner there’s no need to wait months between treatments.
Pro Tip: Always use a professional nano titanium flat iron, work in thin sections, and adjust passes based on porosity for best results.
Apply Nano Silky before coloring. If applied after, it can lighten or shift the shade. The only exception is highlights Nano Silky can be applied right after to smooth and protect lightened hair.

Can I color the hair the same day as Nano Silky?
It is not recommended to color the same day, as the best results come from waiting a few washes after Nano Silky. This gives the hair time to settle and ensures the most accurate, long-lasting color.
If a client insists on same-day coloring, make sure to wash the hair with shampoo and conditioner first so the pigment takes evenly.
